This is a very pretty 9ct gold dunhill sylph gas lighter, this design wsa first introduced in the 1950s but this dates to 1968 and carries the imported gold marks. Ad initials makers mark for alfred dunhill, the bsae is also marked dunhill paris. The markings are in several places on the lighter and i have tried to show them all in the photos. The overall condition is very good, it measures 54 x 20 x 14 mm and weighs 52 grams. Free p&p to ku address.

On 25-nov-08 at 111751 gmt, seller added the following informationon further investigation, with help from fellow collectors, this lighter is silver gilt and not solid gold, there is very litlte or no wear and tear of the gold covering. My apologies if any collectors out there feel i have misled them. I have filled the lighter with gas, it doesn't appear to be leaking, no hissing etc, however, it does spark but does not light, it will need more experienced hands than mine.
